All Colours Day

Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated All Colours Day on 20th January 2025 with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to promote awareness of the importance of fruits and vegetables in a healthy diet. 

Students participated by wearing vibrant cutouts of various fruits and vegetables, adding a splash of colour to the day. Teachers explained the significance of incorporating fruits and vegetables into daily meals, highlighting their role as natural sources of essential vitamins and minerals that promote overall health. 

Kargiln Vijay Diwas

With the grace of Sadguru Mata Amritanandamayi Devi and the guidance of our beloved Principal, Swamini Amma, Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas on 26th July 2024. 

Investiture Ceremony

With the grace of Sadguru Amma and the guidance and blessings of our beloved Principal, Swamini Amma, the Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2024-25 was held with great enthusiasm and dignity at Amrita Vidyalayam, Mysore. The event was a grand success. 

Gujarat Handicrafts Exhibition 2024-25

Under the able guidance of our beloved Principal, Swamini Amma, students of Classes 5 to 10 had the privilege to visit the Gujarat Handicrafts Exhibition on 11th July 2024. The exhibition showcased a stunning array of handcrafted items, including jewellery, textiles, paintings, nail art, and more. This visit provided students with an enriching experience, exposing them to diverse forms of artwork, supporting artisans, and fostering an appreciation for India's vibrant handicraft traditions. 

All Colours Day for Kindergarten

Our kindergarten celebrated All Colours Day with immense enthusiasm and joy. The day was filled with a vibrant spectrum of colours as our little ones arrived dressed in their most colourful outfits. 

The event kicked off with a delightful ramp walk, where the children confidently showcased their colourful attire, accompanied by an array of fruit and vegetable cut-outs. Some of the tiniest tots even added a spark of glamour with colourful crowns and glasses, making the occasion even more fun and lively! 

Story Telling Competition for Amrita Nursery

Storytelling is a unique art that allows us to step into the shoes of others, sparking the imagination of readers, storytellers, and listeners alike. It provides an opportunity to explore diverse perspectives and shape our beliefs.

The much-awaited storytelling competition was held on December 16th in the school auditorium. It was an engaging and vibrant event where Jr. KG and Sr. KG students captivated the audience with their expressive storytelling. They brought their stories to life using creative props and wore attire that perfectly complemented their tales.

Workshop By Amrita Leap Team

A two-day workshop was organized on October 28th and 29th, 2024, by the Amrita LEAP Team at the School Prayer Hall. The event saw the participation of 69 students from Classes 9 to 12, who engaged in interactive sessions designed to enhance their learning skills, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving abilities. The resource team provided valuable insights and practical techniques, making the workshop an enriching experience for all participants. 

All Colours Day

On January 20, 2025, our kindergarten section celebrated All Colours Day with great enthusiasm and joy. The event was a vibrant celebration, as students brought an assortment of colourful fruits, vegetables, and creative cutouts. Some students confidently shared interesting facts about the items they brought, showcasing their communication skills and knowledge.

Swami Vivekananda's Birthday (National Youth Day)

Swami Vivekananda's birthday, celebrated as National Youth Day on January 12th, honours the life and teachings of one of India’s most influential spiritual leaders, philosophers, and social reformers. His messages of self-belief, service to humanity, and national unity continue to inspire millions around the world.
