Amrita Vidyalayam, Nagapattinam, is proud to announce the outstanding achievement of its students at the State-Level Beach Pencak Silat Competition, held on the 25th and 26th of January 2025 in Cuddalore. The event brought together young martial artists from across the state, and our talented students competed fiercely, securing two Gold medals and two Silver medals in their respective weight categories.

We celebrated Independence Day on August 15, 2024, with boundless enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The event honoured our brave freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation's freedom, peace, and prosperity. 

This year, India commemorated its 78th Independence Day with the theme 'Viksit Bharat,' envisioning a developed India by 2047. We pledged to contribute toward fulfilling this vision. 

Students from Amrita Vidyalayam, Nallampalayam, have secured first place at the national level in the CBSE National Science Exhibition, held at Amity International School, Gurgaon, Haryana. The event saw participation from 429 schools across India, showcasing innovative scientific projects from young minds.

Pragatheesh P and Vedhav V, both Grade 11 students, presented their project, ‘ROAD-SKI’, under the theme "Transportation and Communication". Their innovative concept and practical application stood out, earning them the top honor in this highly competitive event.

Amrita Vidyalayam in Janla, Bhubaneswar, celebrated its Annual Function ‘SANYOG-2024’ this Saturday at its premises with vibrant student participation. The festivities started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest Dr. Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, Founder Editor of The Sambad, the Chief Speaker Sri Loluck Baby, Senior Director of Academic Excellence for South India, and the Guest of Honour Sri Smrutiranjan Biswal, State Engagement Officer at NSDC, Odisha, in the presence of Bri Namratamrita Chitanya and Rasikamrita Chaitanya along with other dignitaries.

Republic Day, observed annually on January 26th, commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of India, marking the birth of the Indian Republic. At Amrita Vidyalayam, Bhubaneswar, the celebration was a vibrant and patriotic event filled with enthusiasm and pride. 

On January 31, 2025, Amrita Vidyalayam was a dazzling spectacle of joy and creativity as All Colours' Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The young Amritians dressed in mesmerizing attires, reflecting the vibrant hues of a rainbow, filling the campus with cheer and excitement. 

The day's festivities began with students marvelling at the stunning colours of the rainbow gracing the sky, sparking curiosity and wonder about the beauty of nature. They sang melodious songs, danced joyfully, and participated in various activities, rejoicing in the lively atmosphere. 

Saraswati Puja, also known as Basant Panchami, is a significant Hindu festival dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the revered deity of wisdom, knowledge, and learning. This auspicious occasion holds special importance in educational institutions, where students seek the goddess's blessings for academic success and enlightenment. Amrita Vidyalayam, Bhubaneswar, celebrated this sacred day with great fervour and devotion. 

Parakram Divas, a day that echoes the spirit of courage and patriotism, was celebrated with immense pride at Amrita Vidyalayam on January 23. The occasion is dedicated to remembering the noble thoughts and brave deeds of one of India’s greatest freedom fighters — Netaji Subhash Chandra Bosee. 

The event commenced with a tribute to the indomitable spirit of Netaji. Students and teachers gathered to watch an inspiring documentary showcasing Netaji's extraordinary journey and his invaluable contributions to India’s freedom struggle. 

On January 27, 2025, Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated Republic Day with ardent patriotic fervour, instilling pride and love for the nation in the hearts of all present. The event showcased the students' talents and enthusiasm through various activities. 

A spirited quiz competition engaged the young minds, testing their knowledge of India’s Constitution, history, and national achievements. Students participated enthusiastically, demonstrating their awareness and competitive spirit. 

Two bright students from Amrita Vidyalayam, Kanyakumari, have brought laurels to the school by excelling in the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2024, organized by CBSE. Lavan Prabhu M.J. (Class IX) and Subin R. (Class X) secured places among the Top 100 students in the Chennai region, a proud achievement for the institution.
