Today, we celebrated International Yoga Day. Students from different classes participated in yoga asana activities, and our yoga teacher raised awareness about the importance of yoga.

World milk day was observed on 18th June 2025. Our toddlers became aware of the significance of drinking milk through a talk by Adithri of class 2. They displayed many homemade milk products and shared each item with their peers

Our Kindergarten joyfully reopened on Monday, June 9th, welcoming our little Super Stars with open arms . The excitement was palpable as students, parents, and teachers gathered to kick-start the new session.

The classrooms were transformed into vibrant spaces with colourful displays, and a photo booth was set up in the corridor filled with balloons , creating a festive atmosphere. To make the day even more special, two senior students dressed as Simba and Mickey Mouse showered flowers on our new students, spreading joy and cheer.

The school election for the academic year 2025 - 2026 was conducted at Amrita Vidyalayam, Pathanamthitta on 20th June 2025. The election was held for the four school houses – Amritamayi, Anandamayi, Chinmayi, and Jyothirmayi – to select student leaders who will uphold the values and responsibilities of leadership throughout the year. Students from various classes actively participated in the democratic process to elect their House Captain, Vice Captain, and Sports Captain.

The school welcomed students back to campus for the new academic session 2025-26, marking a fresh start for students from 1st to 12th standard. As students arrived with their parents, a warm welcome was extended, setting a positive tone for the year ahead.

Our 12th standard students graciously applied a traditional Chandan tilak to the new students, symbolizing a warm welcome and their integration into the school community.

The Investiture Ceremony at Amrita Vidyalayam was a proud and momentous occasion that celebrated the spirit of leadership and responsibility among the students. With a blend of solemnity and enthusiasm, the event was held to formally induct the newly elected Student Council members for the academic year.

The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp and a heartfelt prayer to seek the divine blessings of Amma. The school echoed with a sense of pride as the Principal welcomed the gathering and emphasized the values of dedication, humility, and teamwork.

World Refugee Day is observed annually on June 20th to raise awareness about the struggles and resilience of refugees worldwide. Amrita Vidyalayam in Pathanamthitta commemorated the occasion with meaningful activities designed to foster empathy and global awareness among students. During the school assembly, Nandana G. Nair delivered a thought-provoking speech that highlighted the challenges faced by refugees and emphasized the importance of compassion and support.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Manjeri celebrated National Reading Day! Our Principal, Mr. Pranav Anil Kumar, and HODs - Ms. Jisha  (Malayalam Department), Ms. Harshita (English department) and our teachers Ms. Theertha (Hindi department), Ms. Anjana (Malayalam department)- shared insightful thoughts on the importance of reading. Academic Coordinator, Ms. Shalini Devi, also inspired the children about the significance of reading.
 

In a serene and spiritually uplifting atmosphere, Amrita Vidyalayam, Bengaluru celebrated the International Day of Yoga 2025 with devotion, discipline, and vibrant energy.

The event commenced with the Lighting of the Lamp, graced by the divine presence of Brahmachari Atmaniratamrita Chaitanya, Brahmacharini Aradhanamrta Chaitanya Amma, Principal Smt. Chethana J, College Principal, Smt.Pallavi Shetty, and honoured guest Dr. Malini.

The students of Amrita Vidyalayam, Odisha, observed Yoga Day at the Kalinga Stadium, organised by the Ministry of Sports Affairs, Government of Odisha. The program was a delightful one and children practised different stretching exercises. Some yoga postures were done, followed by Pranayama sessions.

The students were accompanied by their class teachers.
