World Cancer Day Observance

Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba, observed World Cancer Day with a thought-provoking awareness session for students of Classes 5A and 5B. The event aimed to educate students on the crucial role of healthy eating habits in cancer prevention. 

Healthy Food Day Celebration

The students of Classes 6A and 6B enthusiastically participated in the Healthy Food Day Celebration, an event designed to promote healthy eating habits and raise awareness about nutritious food choices.

As part of the event, students created visually engaging charts that highlighted the importance of a balanced diet and the benefits of healthy eating. They also brought homemade, nutritious food items for lunch and snacks, showcasing their understanding of making healthy food choices.

Gita Jayanti Celebration

Amrita Vidyalayam joyfully observed Gita Jayanti on February 11, 2025, marking the completion of the course with a heartfelt celebration conducted by the Gita Parivar. The event honoured the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita and its relevance in daily life. 

The highlight of the celebration was the recitation of Chapter 12 of the Bhagavad Gita by our students, filling the atmosphere with devotion and reverence. As a token of gratitude, the school felicitated the Gita Parivar teachers for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout the year. 

Admit Card Distribution and Havan Ceremony for Class X and XII Students

On Wednesday, February 13, 2025, Amrita Vidyalayam conducted a sacred Havan to invoke divine blessings and wish good luck for students appearing for their Class X and Class XII board examinations. The ceremony was led by Bri. Rasikamrita Chaitanya and Bri. Namratamrita Chaitanya, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

It was a heart-touching and spiritually uplifting moment when the 10th-grade students of Amrita Vidyalayam sought the blessings of their revered Gurus and elderly staff before their Board Examinations. 

The tradition of seeking blessings before important milestones in life is a reflection of the timeless value embedded in the phrase Mātā Pithā Guru Daivam, emphasizing the role of parents, teachers, and the Divine in shaping one's life.

Cadet Under Officer, Praveen Kumar Rai, a bright student of Amrita Vidyalayam Kolkata, embarked on an extraordinary journey by joining the No. 1 (WB) Air Sqn NCC. Driven by the passion to explore the realm of military life and understand the essence of Republic Day Camp, he sought guidance from his ANO and prepared for the prestigious Best Cadet Competition. With unwavering dedication and perseverance, Praveen cleared the primary examination, impressing the CO of 2Air with his outstanding performance. He emerged as the Air Junior Division Gold Medalist and underwent rigorous training.

Karthika Puja Observed with Devotion

Our school reverberated with devotion and spiritual fervour as we observed Amma's Karthika Puja on February 5, 2025. The sacred ceremony was graced by the presence of devoted parents, teachers, staff, and students, creating an atmosphere of unity and reverence. 

The puja was conducted with utmost sanctity by Bri. Rasikamrita Chaitanya and Bri. Namratamrita Chaitanya, invoking divine blessings for all. Their spiritual presence and chants uplifted the hearts of everyone present.
