Kindergarten students celebrated Umbrella Day on June 30th with great joy. Dressed in pink and carrying colorful umbrellas, they learned about the monsoon season and shared thoughts on rain and umbrellas.

They enjoyed a craft activity decorating paper umbrellas with thermocol balls and sequins. Later, they took part in a fun umbrella drill and walked in the drizzle, singing songs like “Rain, Rain, Go Away.” The event taught children to find happiness even in the rain.

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025–26 was held with great enthusiasm, marking the official induction of our new student leaders. Aswanth (Class 10) and Archana (Class 10) were proudly announced as the Head Boy and Head Girl, respectively.

Leaders from various domains — Arts, Sports, Houses, and Clubs — took the oath of office, promising to uphold their duties with dedication. The Principal presided over the event, and the Head Girl concluded the ceremony with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks.

Students of Amrita Vidyalayam, Kanhangad celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm by planting saplings on campus. Classes 3 to 5 took part in the plantation drive, supported by their teachers and the Principal. The event also featured a skit and a speech on environmental conservation. Younger students contributed with creative posters, making the day a meaningful and inspiring “Green Day” celebration.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba, observed Kargil Vijay Diwas with patriotic fervor and deep reverence to honour the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers during the Kargil War of 1999. As part of the commemoration, Class IX students took the initiative to prepare an informative and vibrant bulletin board display. The display featured powerful visuals, facts about the Kargil War, and heartfelt tributes to the martyrs. A striking feature was the replica of a jawan’s uniform, symbolizing the courage, commitment, and discipline of the Indian armed forces.

Gurupoornima was celebrated 5th July 2025. Gurupoornima also called Vyasa Poornima, is an  annual festival celebrated on full moon day in hindu month of Ashada.

Teachers, students parents and all the staff members attended the celebration af Samskriti pooja, guided by our beloved Swami Vivekamrita namda puri. Duration of our program was 2hrs starting from 9.30 am to 11.30 am. The bhajans sung by the students coir team took the atmosphere to the height of devotion .The attendees of the celebrations got "prasadam” from Swami..
