On KG Reopening Day, June 11th, we warmly welcomed our young learners with a traditional Arathi ceremony. The celebration featured cultural programs, a commencement writing ceremony, and a valuable parental guidance session by our coordinator, Renuka Ma’am. The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025-26 was held on 21/6 at Amrita vidyalayam  with great enthusiasm and dignity. The ceremony marked a significant beginning for the newly elected Student Council, symbolizing the trust and confidence the school bestows upon them. 

The event commenced with a warm welcome by Mrs Sandhya V S followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by  our respected Principal Adithamrta Chaithanya, who graced the occasion with her presence.

We celebrated Chocolate Day on 7th July. The kids were thrilled to see the dark chocolates being made and couldn't wait to taste them. They learned about the ingredients and how they're mixed together to create the rich, velvety chocolate.The teachers taught them about the healthy benefits of dark chocolate. Children came to know that learning about chocolate could be educational and tasty.Using brown colour materials like horse gram, tea powder, and pencil shavings to make crafts like a teddy bear and tree also encouraged kids to think outside the box.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Kanhangad celebrated International Yoga Day with great spirit. The event began with a prayer and a welcome speech by the Head Boy. Br. Vedyavedamrita Chaithanya gave the presidential address, and Dr. Seema G. K (Medical Officer, Govt. Ayurveda Dispensary, Nileshwar) inaugurated the function.

Students Devadutt (Class 8) and Devananda delivered speeches in English and Malayalam. Ward Councillor Mrs. Soudamini gave a felicitation. Students performed yogasanas under the guidance of Swamiji.

Under the divine guidance of Br. Vedavedyamrita Chaithanya, Guru Purnima was observed with deep devotion. The celebration began with prayers, bhajans, and traditional chanting, creating a sacred atmosphere.

A moving highlight was the Padapuja, where students worshipped the feet of their parents, expressing heartfelt gratitude to them as their first Gurus.

In his inspiring address, Swamiji emphasized that true learning begins at home and that honouring parents is the highest form of worship

Students of AV Kanhangad (Pre-KG to Class II) joyfully celebrated Ramayana Month with devotion and creativity. Children dressed as Rama, Sita, Hanuman, Jatayu, and Shabari, and the best performers received trophies and certificates.

They watched the Ramayana in the AV Room, where teachers explained its values—respect, righteousness, and kindness. The celebration served as a blend of culture, learning, and spiritual growth.
