Karkidaka Food Fest The month of Karkidakam, also known as Ramayana month, holds special significance in Kerala’s cultural and health traditions. It is a time traditionally associated with rejuvenation and healing, as the heavy monsoon often weakens the body. To counter this, Karkidaka Kanji—a medicinal porridge made with Ayurvedic herbs and rice—is commonly consumed to boost immunity and maintain health. To celebrate this rich tradition and create awareness among students, we organized a Karkidaka Food Fest in the school premises.
